Celine graduated in 2004 with a first class Ba hons in Ceramic Design. Her passion is to create with this receptive medium making both functional and decorative peices. She particularly loves working with porcelain because of its fragility and translucent qualities.
Celine’s work is constantly inspired by nature’s beauty, colours, textures, patterns and natural reoccurring grooves and folds. Her background in fashion and textiles also influence some of her figurative dress forms.
Her peices are hand built and glazed with a wide range of her own glazes. She is currently working with coloured porcelain as well as developing a new website. A selection of Céline’s Manx cats are available to purchase from the Manx Museum. Commissions are welcomed.
