Eve Adams
Eve is a multidisciplinary artist, craftsperson and illustrator. She graduated from the University of Derby in 2004 with a First-Class Honours Degree in Sustainable Design and Practice. Sustainability has remained of great importance to her. She uses recycled, re-purposed, or natural materials wherever possible in her three-dimensional work, and focuses on the natural world through her illustration. Eve believes that creativity is vital to the health and well being of individuals and communities. She runs the community project Balley Cashtal Beg, and, through her illustrations, brings the folklore of the Isle of Man to life. She also organises community art projects and family craft sessions. Eve draws, paints, constructs and sews from her home in Castletown, where she’s lived for the past 14 years. www.eveadams.art |
