Paul was born and grew up on the Island. He attended the Isle of Man College before studying at Chelsea School of Art in in London where he lived for a number of years. On his return to the Island Paul became a driving force behind the co-ordination of over fifty contemporary art exhibitions with the organisation Arts in Mann. He also taught
sculpture and screen printing at the Isle of Man College. As well
as contributing extensively to many local exhibitions, he won
numerous awards at exhibitions staged by Singer & Friedlander.
Paul has also contributed essays to the catalogues of Mark Turner,
David Fletcher, Eileen Schaer, Ed Kelly and Reg Quayle. He has
exhibited in France, Belgium, Germany, Poland and the United
Kingdom and has works in the collections of Manx National
Heritage, The IOM Arts Council and in private collections in
London and the Isle of Man. For the last few years he has worked
with artists and designers on and off the Island producing stamps
for the IOM Post Office.
